May Mystic Guidance

Hello my sweet angels! Thank you for your patience in receiving this months guidance. I have recorded the video three times and have been uploading it to youtube for over 24 hours! Alas, it’s mercury retrograde shadow period (which you can read/watch about in the May Tune-Up!) and I’ve gotta roll with the technological punches that are coming my way.

May is going to be a challenging and potent month. We’re guided past our fears and into the space mystery provides. Pull up your socks, bring your energetic first-aid kit and allow yourself to be unattached to the mirages that appear ahead. Aligning yourself with the new dance your spirit, body and mind want to move to will be a distillation process. Where do you start? How do you hold space for the poison to become nectar? Can you trust what you know and believe in to apply to your experience? Can you feel the thread looped firmly in your hand as you move through portals of change, connecting the patterns of the past to the potentials of the future? As we move through the hump of May and trickle out the end, a new self (or perhaps an old one) is uncovered and asking for our faith to create space for them within us. In endeavouring these changes, releases and mini-deaths we come out of May feeling newly balanced and perhaps realizing our capacity for what we can hold is abundant and actually just needed a little (or big…. refresh). Like when you take everything out of the closet to reorganize it and figure out what you really need, want, and what fits.

Let things wrap up. Let long buried feelings surface and be washed away. Let go of stories and things that you have kept with you even though they don’t fulfill or coincide with your needs. Intensity is unbecoming before it is rematerialized in a new form. With all the changes and patterns that are unravelling trust the thread that made all of that will continue its weaving into something that better supports you.

Taurus Season

Welcome to Taurus season! Ruled by Venus, the sign of The Bull running mid Mid-April til Mid-May.

This particular Taurus season holds us in a juicy wrap as we embrace the Taurus-Scorpio axis of lessons and eclipses. Death and rebuilding. Fortresses and destruction. Here we see how so much undoing is happening within our minds and allowing us to step fully and surely into the future. This is a season where there may be a lot of physical sensations around emotional experiences, so take time to ride the waves.

Collectively we move through The Castle + Thanatos (aka death) with Ideation (red), Confidence (black), Illumination (yellow), and reflection (blue) with circular symbolism and vacillating between singularity + duality. As above, so below. Taurus season reminds us death can be slow, gentle, and peaceful if we allow ourself to find support in the composting.

Our first eclipse happens this Saturday, May 30th with your north node in Taurus.

Full Moon in Libra

Your Full Moon reading! When we’re looking at the cycle from full to empty, I like to think of each sign as having its own cup that goes through a 6 month cycle (new to full). As we look at the Full Moon in Libra, we’re not just looking at manifesting energy tonight or using it for ritual.

As we soak in the energy of the full moon, the themes presented and the journey the cards see us through will take time to unfold. Aries Season

It is the sweet beginning of the astrological new year, my sweet friends. While this can come with many feelings (including the urge to hide for some, and shine for others) I truly feel as though there is a vein of light with an IV drip of UV. Although a little uncomfortable at the beginning, it is also a feeling that is familiar and has been very missed over the winter season and more “mature” zodiac signs as I think of them lol.

Aries reminds us that there is a singular “I” behind all the things we do, desire, and chase. That while we can and do mature into working with others in mind, that it is also fundamentally necessary to know who we are in order to do that.

I like engaging with the signs in a way that allows me to look at them as a check-in for each aspect of my life, especially if you can align them with the houses as areas of the life they rule. Aries is the first house which is all about the self, identity, how we are perceived by the world.

I’ve decided to try out video readings again! It’s broken up into 3 sections; the first video is aries, taurus, gemini, and cancer; the second is leo, virgo, libra, and scorpio; the third is sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, and pisces.

Pisces Season

Welcome to the end of the zodiac cycle. Sweet Pisces season comes to help us move through the end of old patterns, start the flow to new places and help us connect our dreams to our reality.

Pisces helps us dive deep into the ocean of our psyche to discover and excavate things that were said to be lost, myths of ourselves and past lives, and find currents that are imperceptible on the surface of our lives.

While this is said to often be a dreamy sign (and it is) it is also a transformative sign. The mutable energy of Pisces takes what was and turns it into what is. Translation: We start off this season with a portal of sorts. There have been so many things built up to where you find yourself now, and regardless of what has had to happen to get here there is a recognition of the significance of how far we’ve come. As we move through Pisces season we’re going to have to reckon with old emotions, past parts of ourselves and our lives. It doesn’t matter what you vowed or promised the last time you were faced with this. You have to ask yourself how to set boundaries not just with the world around us, but the world within us. Embody the truth of everything you’ve learned about yourself in the process of this transformation; maybe its been years in the making or weeks. The thing is, we’re not looking to win. We’re looking to have peace. How can you hold up your end of peacekeeping in your life? As we come out of Pisces season we are gifted with something to nourish the deepest self. Acknowledge what it takes to bring your entire self on the journey. It’s okay if your heart feels nervous. It’s okay if giving up old patterns and ways of thinking feel hard. Ultimately it is courageous to have hope, and baring our hearts to hope on the journey of healing in our becoming is really what this season is all about. On the cusp of your own season, Aries, you start of Pisces season with a good look at yourself. Are you really still the person you are trying to unbecome? Are you so far off, if not further into a new self than perhaps you noticed? There are many small deaths this season, both good and grieving. Ultimately, at the end of it all you have to ask yourself how to get comfortable with things actually being good. With you actually being able to trust yourself and support yourself. Without having to do what you’ve done, or be who you’ve been in order to step forward into the support and power of trusting the being of yourself in the right now. There will be many clarifying moments and you’ll leave this season with keys to a deep inner sanctum that has been totally renovated. Allow yourself to be guided by the power of this self as you learn to lean into its embodiment.

TAURUS + TAURUS RISING

King of Wands Rx, 3 of Swords Rx, 3 of Wands

Taurus, you are very familiar with believing in yourself. But you also are very familiar with staying in the same bounds of what you believe. Pisces season sees you looking at all those dreams on your pinterest board and sticky notes with passing genius. This is a time for you to grow and push into new territory. In doing so, you come against old pains, stories, and patterns that have been waiting to become dislodged for good. As you work out the kinks, allow yourself to cleanse your home, spirit, and patterns. Ultimately your biggest gift here is to try. Try for the things that you think are dreams. The Star, Knight of Swords Rx, Judgement Rx

This season starts with authenticity and vulnerability for you, Gemini. The familiar mutable energy surges through this season and asks you to be adaptable in a way that doesn’t bend you until you break. In a way that doesn’t ask you to take every single idea and find the path for it, but the essence of all things you create and call into creation. What happens if you infuse all of this into yourself instead of attempt to externalize it. What if you take all the energy you use for making space for yourself in the world and untangle the threads of thought into something that brings you peace instead of having to seek peace. Judgement asks us to look at all the versions of us that are asking for attention and a chance in the spotlight. I think the most important part of this season is to not forfeit or sell short the embodiment of peace. The chase of it is just that - a chase. Switch gears into being instead of achieving. You’ve already become all that you need right now, it’s time to enjoy it and let go of what sits in the way of that pleasure.

CANCER + CANCER SEASON

In a world that wants receipts for every ounce of self-care we enact in, Cancer, you start Pisces season with the reminder that the care you enact for yourself is for you. Your boundaries are for you. It takes immense courage to embody your current truth, and it takes even more courage to let your truth be influenced by your dreams. You’re learning to interact with your power in a different way than you have before. Instead of seeking it or setting traps, we must find ways to make space. Ultimately Cancer, I think you have more power and capability than you let yourself believe. Sinking into the truth of what you are capable of allows you to step into a phase of growth that will be nearly unmatched. If this is the season to pull our dreams down from the heavens and into our reality there is a reminder here that we need to be okay with getting uncomfortable in the process. Push your growth edge, try new things, and allow yourself to be greater than you give yourself credit for. Leo, you come into Pisces season with your head held high and your heart held open. This isn’t to be mistaken with softness, but willingness. There is a need here to recognize the power you have when you choose that which strengthens you instead of that which you are told you need to be or do in order to be strong. As you move into this season, change is on the horizon of the self. Instead of awaiting it to come forward, you do what you can to prepare for its embrace. Your sun is always somewhere to be found in the landscape of your life, and here hope is far from lost although that which you hope for may still be a journey away. Ultimately, Pisces season wants to help you embody and move from a place of peace. The Empress, 7 of Cups, 4 of Pentacles

Virgo, start this season by allowing. Allowing yourself to feel empowered, allowing yourself to recharge, to be rejuvenated. Allow what is no longer to pass, allow what may be to come forward, allow what is no longer to pass. As you start this season feeling embodied in your truth and any new definitions for that truth that may be arising, you are given the strength and grace to face the things you have been yearning for that are an illusion. Whether wanted from a place of defence, or because it’s been sold as something shiny, or simply because you want it - here we remove the notion that nourishment comes when things are acquired. You see the way in which you’ve been chasing something that isn’t you or your heart. You see what planted the seeds and acknowledge how deep the roots go. We end the season with an acknowledgement that you are the only person who knows how to find and maintain your unique balance. If it helps, view yourself like the “other” Libra. This Pisces season is asking you to use your dreams to zoom out and envision yourself not as you are now but who you are when you are seen with limitless possibility. It’s okay if you want to change your career. It’s okay if you want to move across the country. But the thing is, the okayness doesn’t come from just observation but allowing yourself to actually do what you want. This doesn’t mean just abandon ship, but it does mean start planning for a future you’re hopeful for. Allow yourself the peace of knowing that the work that lays ahead brings you closer to the pleasure of pursuing peace. Pisces season allows you to look to the challenges and use your imagination to find the peace in balancing just right with tension. You will see that when you look back at all the ways your actions didn’t support who you are, were actually an excavation of the path and resources that allowed you to support being yourself. Scorpio, I know sometimes the stillness is unbearable. But is pleasure not also partly unbearable? Is reaching orgasm not the scratching of an itch? Is the physically taxing, bile rising whirlwind of excitement not akin to anxiety? And when we stay in those places, do we not feel a kind of ecstasy in the stillness that is unbearable only in its impermanence? Wherever you are in your healing or feeling, find peace in staying as long as you need to feel truly ready to move on. It may feel as though you have to sneak past questions and acts that speak of a past self. While what you are moving forward with isn’t new, it does require you to dis-armour yourself this month while you get emotionally ready to come out into the world with these changes and tangible investments towards a self that you’ve become intimate with but perhaps are taking your time bringing to the outer worlds. Just know that while your feelings aren’t facts, they are potent sources of information still. Allow yourself to trust what feels good as you come out of Pisces season.

SAGITTARIUS + SAGITTARIUS RISING

4 of Swords Rx, 5 of Wands, 6 of Cups

Entering Pisces season from your inner sanctum, there is a recharging that has been needed. Outside of you, the world happening and projecting and asking and seeking. But there is a reminder that while there is work that lays ahead in untangling our many desires and the root of them also means that we must truly face and interact with our many desires. Ultimately, the story about what we want isn’t the thing we want - the nourishment that comes from what we are looking to fulfill through the thing we want is where you end up as you move through this season. The inner child isn’t just a little us staring back into our eyes. It is the spirit of us embedded in the truth of everything we desire to do. Building a relationship with that self allows us to see our dreams not just as a literal fantasy to fulfil but as a notion of how we can find the most peace through feeling not through role playing. There are going to be many stories of ourselves that we wish to fulfill and in healing that which we can’t literally complete yet we can find the root of that desire and serve it in an accessible way to ourselves. This requires radical honesty and trust within yourself - all very manageable for you this season Sag.

CAPRICORN + CAPRICORN RISING

Sometimes the hardest part of change is trusting it when it’s good. Capricorn, you’re not one to stay long in something that doesn’t work for you, but you also have a way of making things work. Here, you have to ask yourself - and be totally honest from the heart not the head - if you are making things work that actually don’t work for you. It may take some time to wrap your head around, but then you move through the middle of Pisces season actively recognizing the things you were carrying you that you were letting poison you because it was a more accessible truth than putting that thing down. Here, there is a major opportunity to refresh how you’ve been feeling, what you’ve been carrying, and how you care for yourself. It’s okay to let the cups go. It is so easy for you to see the perspective of others, and even perhaps just imagined perspectives, that you so easily overlook the value of your own. Not that which of you have the capacity to see, but that which you actually see from where you specifically stand in your own life. This may require some general excavating of many cases in which you haven’t actually taken your own perspective into adequate account. This isn’t just something that will show up in your mind, but in your body and spirit as well. There is great opportunity here to deeply align and nourish yourself in a way that is often overlooked (and societally valued for being overlooked as well). But the reality is that you are actually not loosing anything valuable in this process but gaining something valuable. Your own unique perspective that involves your feelings and insights from a perspective of how it affects you truly will make you feel better and closer to yourself, but also do way more for the world as if you’re not sharing your point of view then no-one can do that for you. See self-actualization as self-liberation and self-empowerment this Pisces season.

PISCES + PISCES RISING

5 of Wands, 6 of Cups, The Fool

There is so much coming your way this season Pisces that it might be your impulse to fight it. But ultimately the world is trying to give you opportunities to become yourself, not test you. This is your season, and a time to tend to your most endeared dreams. See how much of who you hope to be you already are. While life is inevitably more complicated than we can imagine as children, it is also inevitably more simple than we realize as adults. This is a time to balance between that inner-child and present-self knowledge. Ultimately it is an act of courage to try your hardest to embody the your truth and follow your dreams. It is an act of courage to have dreams. This season sets you off with a goodie bag full of potential, opportunities, and soon-to-be-wisdom. Don’t sell yourself short, because if you weren’t ready for what lays ahead then it wouldn’t be offered to you. Move through whatever nerves you have about trusting the good things and believe me when I say there is no shoe yet awaiting you to drop.

Welcome to Aquarius season! Where we learn big lessons and gain a lot of wisdom – sometimes the hard way. This fixed air sign is often referred to as the humanitarian or the water bearer. I love the imagery of the water bearer, this notion that in this sign there is an ability to build a relationship with giving and receiving wisdom.

Aquarius is also a no bullshit sign that asks us to get real and honest with what we feel our lives should look like, the impacts we make and the changes we generate with our choices. This is a season that will ask you to compost your dreams as much as make space for them to flourish. At the end of the day, where this is may not be the softest of signs it is one of the most heartfelt. It feels not just for itself, but for everyone and everything it is connected to. Don’t forget to be you amidst everything that is unfolding and remember that making choices for yourself is just as powerful as making choices for those around you.

7 of Cups Rx, Judgement Rx, 9 of Pentacles

If you want to see the fruits of your labour, this is a time to realign yourself with your why. It’s easy in the world we live in for practical realities to override the desires of our hearts, but the truth of it is that our truest intention in an endeavour does change the energy of it – even if it just changes how we can show up in it. This season is an opportunity to remind yourself of what hasn’t worked, where to let sleeping dogs lay, and how to focus on what is working and uplift that. In order to see the fruits you’ll need to clear the debris. With patience, sacrifices and determination you’ll come out of Aquarius season feeling more abundant for it’s lessons.

Taurus + Taurus Rising

Taurus, we’ve been watching to steadily grow into a prosperous place. It seems Aquarius season wants to give you that last nudge of expansion into your dreams, taking all the theoretical and hard to quantify work. Stepping into a big new space of the unknown can be scary, especially for earth signs that like to know where and what they are grounded in. There is a reminder here that as long as you know how it is you want to feel in your life, you will be able to anchor yourself in these next steps. Whatever worries have ailed your mind will not be healed by staying away in the what-if place, but will be healed by exploring the what-if places. Allow yourself to take big leaps into new horizons and trust that all of your careful planning and becoming won’t lead you astray.

You start off Aquarius season taking stock of your resources, which is a great way to begin anything Gemini. You’ve put in the hours to find balance in your life, and when it is restored it is a precious thing that can’t be taken lightly. As you venture out into the world with this balance in tact you feel the support you’ve been working towards and allowing into your life. All of the turns and twists truly did lead to the place where the wellspring to fill your cup was awaiting you. You’ll come out of this season feeling curious about what it means to make intentional investments of your resources into your life and watch as they bloom.

Cancer + Cancer Rising

The Hermit Rx, 6 of Swords Rx, 5 of Pentacles Rx

Cancer, you have a tendency to hide away from things when it starts to get rough, and while that is a valuable skill to have these cards serve as a reminder to use your time inside of yourself well. It is okay to retreat every once in a while, it is okay to rest. But when you find yourself hiding, it’s time to ask what you hope to change what you’re hiding from into if everything within stays the same? You move through thoughts, fears, and notions that have plagued you but don’t actually serve you to be more compassionate or aware or prepared. The things that circle in your mind in fear are under deep examination, and you realize that there actually are things you can do to quiet the voices. Your self-worth is worthy of reinforcing and supporting.

The beginning of this season is going to feel like a battle, Leo. Your job is to pick all the pieces apart and find their common denominator and work out how to move forward with it. There are so many options when it comes to changing your mind, and the best way to support yourself through it is to show up honestly in what you need in all fronts, but also confront what it is that you are willing to do. You will be finding more clarity about how to surrender to the kind of guidance that requires patience. While big things are underway, you need to be underway to so you can show up in it. You need to leave your inner comfort zone and recognize what needs to be done to be successful in the eyes of your own values, and risk being uncomfortable in the adventure of becoming yourself.

The season ahead feels like it brings clarity and blessings Virgo. While there is a patch here in the middle that will ask you to work to find answers that are of you instead of those around you, the front and back ends of this season bring you and your inner child peace. Sometimes we are under the illusion that following our most dizzy daydreams is the only way to appease the little us inside, but truthfully doing justice to that true part of ourselves first means protecting it. Maybe you’ve found a steady job that allows you to have the energy and freedom to make art after hours while still paying the bills. Maybe you’ve dropped an attitude about certain ways of living that actually don’t have a good or bad value assigned to them. You come out of this month curious about what is coming forward for you when all your needs are met and nourished.

As air moves through air this season, you’re going to find that the most innocent feelings, ideas and realizations can become monumental when planted in the proper soil. This means, be as intentional as possible as you move through whatever feelings and intuitions come up this month. I know Libra is often seen as indecisive, but I think that part of that is that the extremes often feel like more feasible choices than the middle path. This is the time to face your feelings about going down the middle road; the discomfort, the lack of stimulation always present, the steady pace it provides. You have work here to ask yourself what the life you want really, truly looks like and how you can make friends with the parts of yourself that feel avoidant of peace because of a story that it’s not good enough, boring, or you’re not capable. How you move through this will be the basis for who you are committed to being as you move forward.

Scorpio + Scorpio Rising

Scorpio, you’re not afraid to feel and we know that. But not feeling things 100% doesn’t mean you are tuned out or failing your instincts. When you allow yourself moments to pause, rest, and restore you actually have more of what you need to navigate big decisions and feelings. You can hear the voice of your intuition that much more clearly. Whatever journey you are on, remember to nourish and pace yourself adequately so you may hear and appear for the signs and synchronicities that await you. There may be trade offs in Aquarius season, but whatever it is that you let go of is an investment. By the end of the month you’ll see some of the fruits of your labours, and understand that abundance through restriction doesn’t mean you’re going at things half-way but that you’re actually able to put some of your energy into choices that support you instead of carrying the weight of making necessary choices longer than you need to.

Sagittarius + Sagittarius Rising

10 of Wands, The Moon, Queen of Pentacles Rx

This season is going to start off with a heavy load, but part of your work is to look at how you can most practically and efficiently carry and move with all the things that need to get done. The reality is you don’t need to carry everything with you to have access to it – in fact when you get so focused on what you’re bringing the path ahead can become more elusive than ever. When those feelings arise, take a deep breath, look at the blue print and get clear about what is essential, what is performative, and what is perfection. You have to go through it to grow through it, so whatever lays ahead of you just remember that staying in hiding and protection doesn’t get you further along the path. Make friends with your anger, shame, and other demons and know they aren’t there to bring you down on your journey but to show you essential things you may have missed without their keen eyes. Big changes cometh this season, Pisces. While you may start this season feeling stuck, I promise you that there is more than you could hope for coming in this time. The key to starting is to allow yourself to fully surrender. You can’t change circumstances you haven’t fully looked at or understood yet, so allow the discomfort of right now to suspend you in a necessary perspective shift. You don’t have to stay stuck, but you also can’t stay the same in these changes and hope for everything around you to do the work. Hello sweeties n hunnies! It's Capricorn season, and I feel like this is such an important and impactful time to look at what it is that we need to feel stable and secure. There are so many facets of security; emotional, spiritual, financial, physical... There are different places we can spend some time overhauling, reinforcing. Just as such, there are equally many places we can lean into during these workings as well.

I don't want to generalize a season or the work, but I think knowing that for where I live in the world, winter comes with Capricorn. This natural need to slow down and reprioritize our energies aligns with this time of structuring as well.

Capricorn is sister sign to Cancer, so if you have Cancer placements also looking for where this season can add some tension to places of Cancer too.

This season is a journey of illuminating the work that needs to be done to come into trust with ones self - the deepest self. Often we can trust ourselves in some degree - to not sink too far into over-draft, to go pee when we need, to sleep when our eyes are heavy. But sometimes the deepest forms of trust for ourselves do really feel like sabotage. To cancel a plan, to end an engagement, to eat meat if we are vegetarian. The thing is, if we are burdened so deeply by keeping all of the things in our life in a place of constant becoming and sustaining we miss the resources we need to build what is the most true for ourselves. Can you lay your desires out in front of you and configure them in a new way? Can you feel what nutrients has been sucked from the soil of your current circumstances and know there are still many things that will grow there? You are asked to release tensions that hold you back instead of build a bridge forward. Our wants for ourselves cannot be stuck in the past - they must lead us forwards. Look at the shadows you hold and ask if they are dark enough and spacious enough to dance in. If they are not, you must get closer to the light and release what you thought was, for what is.

It's time to take stock of what you've given away - the circumstances of it, the pay-outs for it, and make space for what is to come. There is much you have invested in, so much in fact you have forgotten about much of it. But those around you haven't. There is a notion I love that speaks of Resonance vs. Manifestation. While you are profoundly good at both, right now resonance is knocking at your door asking you to make space for the bigness of new truths. Please do not choose not to answer. You will have to do the work to become what holds these spaces and intentions now and that is okay. Because what you excavate from the inner makes literal space and opportunity for you in life in the outer. The world wants you to have abundance. Gemini, you've gone through too many changes to keep count of. And maybe it is better that way. The universe doesn't keep score that way and you don't need to either. But as change goes, it makes it hard to predict what comes next and navigate what it is that we really need or even want. So while the mind is staring wide-eyed at the world around it, direct your attention to your heart. Does it feel calm? Does it feel secure? Does it feel loved - not by other but by you? These changes have been an act of love and devotion for yourself and there was an exact reason each one of them had to happen. There is truly no way to extract ourselves without crumbling the foundation of reality or having to work to make a new one. Moving from a place of conscious peace is not easy. It asks us to slow down when we are walking in the dark, to soothe ourselves from what we feel is peering over our shoulders and hold ourselves accountable to the entirety of experience when it feels like we couldn't possible bear anymore. But rushing through it all creates the illusion that we don't have time or freedom or choice. The opposite couldn't be more true. We have tremendous choice and to sit with our choices and be aware of them and hold them tenderly really asks us to carve out a space we may not feel is possible when we are rushing. The truth is though, we don't figure ourselves out all alone. And we will be alone until we choose to ask for the help we need; to open up to the notion that we actually are better when supported not swaying alone on the pedestal of self-becoming. It is community becoming. It is relational becoming. We are not the people around us just by association but equally by interaction. Your desire needs your whole self and your whole support on the table. Presence is the gift here. Presence slows us to see what is necessary.
